LACUNA COIL: Vienna Footage Available

November 28, 2008

Fan-filmed video footage of LACUNA COIL's November 26, 2008 concert at Gasometer in Vienna, Austria can be viewed below (clips uploaded by "Codemned").

LACUNA COIL spent a couple of months this past fall recording a new studio album in Los Angeles with producer Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with LINKIN PARK, TRAPT, AVRIL LAVIGNE, GOOD CHARLOTTE, THE VERONICAS, PEARL JAM, TRUST COMPANY and DURAN DURAN. An early 2009 release via Century Media Records is expected.

LACUNA COIL's first-ever DVD, "Visual Karma (Body, Mind and Soul)", which is a celebration of all things from the band's "Karmacode" album and subsequent touring cycle, was released in North America on November 25 via Century Media. An e-card for the release, which allows you to view material from all sections of this double DVD, is available at this location. Watch clips from Wacken Open Air 2007 and Loudpark 2007 festivals, all promo clips for the "Karmacode" album plus snippets from the behind-the-scenes travel documentaries and individual band members' home videos.

"Visual Karma (Body, Mind and Soul)" will be available as a limited 2DVD + Audio DVD (5.1 mix of "Karmacode" on DVD, including rare songs) + CD (Wacken Open Air audio live) with a total running time of approximately 350 minutes and including special packaging, as well as standard 2DVD (total running time: approximately 215 minutes).

Commented band co-vocalist Andrea Ferro: "In the past, we've been asked a million times about when we were gonna put out a band DVD. Truthfully, we never felt like it was a priority, and we didn't want to release something just because the market was asking for it. The 'Karmacode' tour brought us to many different places around the world for the first time and we managed to record some of those great, outstanding shows, where the interaction with the people was just magic. This DVD is a beautiful reminder of where we have been in the past three years with all our body, mind and soul."
